I hope your work week is off to a great start.
Although I’m still on summer vacation, I worked my butt off today.
With the exception of the kitchen and balcony, my apartment is now thoroughly scoured from top to bottom. The rest will have to wait until tomorrow!
Before the cleaning started, I ate a quick breakfast before heading to the gym.
A kitchen sink smoothie– trying to use up some stuff.
A few strawberries, small handful of blueberries, a ton of red currents, a bit of yogurt, splash of milk, some frozen spinach, 1/2 frozen banana, protein powder and the Trader Joe’s equivalent of berry flavored Amazing Grass.
Nothing amazing, but my fridge is close to empty and I was fueled through my workout. Breakfast success.
After the gym, I ran a few errands then came home to continue emptying my fridge for lunch.
Tuna salad on toasted wheat bread with red cabbage and tomato, carrots, the rest of the tomato, and a kiwi.
Then the cleaning began!
5 and a half hours later, I washed up, changed clothes and ran out the door to meet a few friends for dinner. Sorry, no photos, but I can tell you, the pasta with zucchini, carrots and goat’s cheese was delicious!
Now, you may be wondering, “why is she panicking to clean her apartment and use up all the stuff in her fridge?”
Well, tomorrow, Sebastian and I are leaving for London!
That’s right friends, for the next week, we’ll be seeing the sights throughout England.
I am so excited but feel incredibly unprepared.
When I say unprepared, I mean I don’t yet know how to get from the airport to where we are staying, I haven’t even started to pack, and still need to finalize a budget so I know how much money I’ll need.
Wow, it’s already midnight but my bedtime is far from reach.
I hope to update you throughout the week, but if I’m not able to, I promise to be back in full force at the end of our vacation!
