I’m glad you’re going to give these a try. Just be sure to check out the website I linked to which includes the details about wrapping the puff pastry. The aluminum foil didn’t touch the apples at all. I sort of made a tent which was supported by two sides of the baking dish, leaving the other two cracked open to release the steam. The aluminum is only there to prevent over browning. Let me know how your apples turn out!

Hello! These are phenomenal!! I plan on ‘trying’ to make them for Thanksgiving! I have one question though… is the puff pastry affected at all by the steam inside the foil when you first start baking?

I can’t believe it’s already been 3 months since I saw you… wahh! Will you be visiting the US anytime soon my dear? The recipe I followed for the pastry wrapped apples was so simple. This dessert would be perfect for Thanksgiving as it is quick and needs little attention, but is very impressive once baked. Good luck!
